よう: Volitional Form §

• ~よう is a verb suffix that expresses volition, proposition or invitation: “let’s” or “shall we?” in English.

godan §

• turn the plain form character into a o sound, and add u
  • 休む　ー＞　休もう

ichidan §

• turn the る sound in plain form to a よう

irregular §

• 来（く）る becomes 来（こ）よう
• する becomes しよう
